🔩How can I view/edit my profile through settings?

Hi Users! Welcome to the Kalp Studio platform.

Ever wondered how to tweak your profile? Want to make it shine brighter than a diamond (virtually, of course)? You've come to the right place! This guide will walk you through the magical land of settings, showing you exactly how to view and edit your profile like a seasoned pro.

Your profile in settings refers to the section where you can manage your account information, preferences, and security settings.

You can view/edit your profile any time you want by following simple steps.

View Profile

Step 1:

To view your profile information, click on the “Profile icon” at the top of the screen.

A pop-up box appears with the following options:

• Your Profile

• KALP Testnet ID

• Log Out

Step 2:

Click on Your Profile.

Step 3:

The Settings window is displayed with two tabs. Personal and API Auth Key.

Personal Tab

Step 4:

The Personal tab shows your profile details, security (password details), KALP ID, and KYC status.

The following details are displayed:

• Name: Name of the user.

• User ID: Unique user ID of the user.

• Email: The email id of the user.

• Security: Password details of the user.

• KALP Testnet ID: KALP ID generated in Kalp blockchain.

• KYC Status: The KYC Status whether Verified, Pending, or Failed.

Step 5: Change Password

Click on Change Password to change the current password and enter a new password.

1. Enter your Old Password.

2. Enter New Password.

• Length: Your password needs to be a minimum of 8 characters but no more than 20. This range ensures security while being user-friendly.

Character Variety:

• Uppercase Letter: At least one capital letter for added password strength.

• Lowercase Letter: At least one small letter to ensure complexity.

• Special Character: Include at least one character like !, @, $, #, or % for enhanced security.

• Number: At least one numeral is required for an additional layer of complexity.

3. Confirm Password.

Matching Requirement: You need to re-enter your password to confirm it. This step is crucial to prevent typing errors in your password.

Click on Save to save the entered password details.

Edit Profile

Step 6:

On the Personal tab, click on Edit to modify profile details.

You can modify the Name. Email and User ID cannot be changed. Click on Save to save the entered details.

API Auth Key Tab

Step 7:

Click on the API Auth Key tab. Details of previously generated API Auth Key are displayed. This includes fields like Key Name, Last Used, Status, API Auth Key, and Date Created.

Note: 10 records per page are displayed.

Click on Create API Auth Key to create a new API Auth Key.

1. Enter the Key Name.

2. Enter Key Description. Key Description is optional.

3. Click on Create API Auth Key. A new API Auth Key is generated.
