This article will guide you through the simple process of creating an API Auth key and explain how it benefits you.

Let's explore the creation of the API Auth Key on Kalp Studio together.

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

Log in to your Kalp Studio account and locate the Settings option in the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Explore the Settings option.

• Personal Details

Within the Settings menu, you'll find a section labeled "Personal Details." Click on or navigate to this section to view and manage your personal information.

In the Personal Details section, you will see various fields such as:

• Name: Name of the user

• User ID: Dedicated ID of the user

• Email ID: Registered email address

• Password: The user will have the change password option

• KALP ID: Kalp Test net ID of the user

• KYC status: Status of the user, whether the KYC is verified or not.

API Auth Key

Within the Settings menu, locate and click on the "API Auth Key" section. This is where you can manage your API authentication keys.

In the API Auth Key section, you will see details for each API authentication key you have created, including:

• Key Name: Assigned key name given by user

• Last Used: Last updated date & time

• Status: Icon to enable and disable the key

• API Auth Key: API authentication key

• Date Created: Creation and activation date

Manage API key: You can perform various actions on your API authentication keys, such as enabling or disabling them, editing their settings, or creating API Auth keys.

Step 3: Create Auth Key

Click on the Create API Auth Key option.

In order to Create a Key, you must enter a key name and description.

Once you've entered the key name and description, locate the Create API Auth Key button. Click on this button to initiate the key creation process.

If you're sure that you want to create the API authentication key, click on the Create API Auth Key to proceed. Alternatively, if you've changed your mind or made a mistake, you can click Cancel to abort the key creation process.

After confirmation, the platform will generate a new API authentication key using the provided name and description. This key will be displayed on the screen along with its status and creation date.
