To ensure the security of your identity on Kalp Studio, we have implemented a KYC (or Know Your Customer) authentication and verification process that enables you to deploy your smart contracts on Kalp Blockchain in a few simple steps.
Let’s check out how it's done.
KYC: International Users
Let us now go through the KYC process for International users.
Step 1:
Login to the Kalp Studio application. For new users, Complete KYC is displayed as you log in. Click on the Complete KYC button.

Step 2:
Select your Country to initiate the KYC Process. Click on Initiate Process.

The verification process varies based on country selection.

Select your Issuing Country.

Step 4:
Select your preferred mode of verification types. These can be Identity cards, Passports, Driver's License, and Residence Permits.

KYC via Mobile Phone
Step 5:
A message will be displayed “Web portal wants to use your camera”. This process involves a web camera and the use of a mobile phone. We will first show the KYC through Mobile phone followed by the web process.
Continue further verification on the phone screen.

You can copy the link to your mobile phone or scan the QR code.

Step 6:
Click Selfie. To do this click on I'm Ready.
Note: Ensure your face is within the frame. Move your head in a circular direction.

Step 7:
Check and edit/confirm your uploaded document image and selfie. Click on the NEXT afterward.

Step 8: Post KYC
Your data has been submitted for KYC processing and verification. Your KYC will be confirmed in less than 24 to 48 hours.

KYC Pending status will be displayed on top.

Step 9: Post KYC
Post KYC validation, the KYC status successful or failed will be displayed on top.

KYC via Web
Step 1:
After completing Step 4 above, theSelfie screen is displayed. Click on "I'm Ready" to click a Selfie.

Step 2:
A message is displayed that the camera access is needed to capture the selfie.

Step 3:
Now move your head in a circular motion to capture the selfie correctly.

Step 4:
Check for edits or confirm your uploaded document image and selfie. Click on the NEXT afterward.

Step 5: Post KYC
Your data has been submitted for KYC processing and verification. Your KYC will be confirmed in less than 24 to 48 hours.
KYC Pending status will be displayed.

Post KYC validation, KYC status successful or failed is displayed.

After successfully completing these steps, you are KYC verified. You can now create projects, create smart contracts in the Kalp Studio application.
